Bono Manso is located in the Bono East region, seventeen kilometers Northeast of Techiman (the capital of the ancient Bono Kingdom) and now fifty kilometers from Nkoransa district. This town dates back in history as one of the prominent cities in the history of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
It is just after the Falls Rest Stop when moving northward, on the right side of the road. This waterfall, one of the main natural attractions in the area, is hidden in the forest, and it is formed by three main drops, where the longest drop measures 25 meters (82 feet) in height, and, after a number of steps and cascades, the river falls about 70 meters (230 feet).
